The Person Behind Your Clean Books

  • I’m Nicholas Favaro, and I run Favaro Bookkeeping Co., a bookkeeping practice built for small business owners in Vaughan and the surrounding areas. If you’re wearing ten different hats in your business and bookkeeping is the one that keeps getting pushed to “later,” you’re exactly who I had in mind when I started this firm.

My path into bookkeeping isn’t the usual one.
Before building this practice, I spent years playing professional hockey, which hard-wired a few things into me: discipline, consistency, and a genuine team‑first mindset. Those same qualities show up in how I manage your books: steady systems, no surprises, and a focus on helping you win over the long term, not just “get through tax season.”

    • A Master of Science in Accounting completed in Massachusetts

    • Professional hockey experience that hard‑wires discipline and consistency

    • Audit experience that keeps your numbers tight, accurate, and ready to stand up to scrutiny

You get the best of both worlds: serious financial training and a team‑first mindset focused on helping you win in your business.

  • Running a small business is demanding. Most owners don’t start their business because they love bookkeeping—they start it because they’re good at what they do and want to serve their customers well.

I started Favaro Bookkeeping Co to:

    • Help local small-business owners keep their books clean, organized, and tax-ready

    • Turn confusing spreadsheets and bank feeds into simple, understandable reports

    • Give owners a steady bookkeeping partner so they don’t have to carry the numbers alone

My goal is to be the person you call when you think, “I’m not sure what’s going on in my books, but I need to figure this out.”

  • Favaro Bookkeeping Co is built for small businesses in Vaughan and nearby areas, including:

    • Service-based businesses

    • Trades and contractors

    • Consultants and professional practices

    • Solo owners and very small teams who want their books done properly the first time

If you’re busy serving clients and don’t have time—or desire—to manage your bookkeeping, you’re the type of client this practice is designed for.

  • The Services page explains each package in detail, but the way I work is simple and consistent.
